Thank you so much for reading and commenting. I love your stories, so it means a lot to me to know you think so much of mine.
I am glad to hear you think I am getting brain!damaged!adam right. While it is definitely heartbreaking to write, I also consider it a fun challenge. And you had the exact response to Noah I wanted readers to have. :-)
I have ideas for at least two more stories in this 'verse. I just need to find time to work on them. I am very glad to know they will have an audience.

i had murder in my heart after the crap noah spewed in kris' car... i wish he'd have pushed/kicked him out the car door so he fell and bled a bit.
will there be more of this?? i wouldn't be averse to that.

I LOL'd picturing Kris kicking Noah out of his car. I asked my best friend, when she beta'd for me, if I had made Noah enough of an ass. I guess I did. *g*
There will almost definitely be more in this 'verse. I have ideas for at least two more stories. I am glad they will have an audience, should the stories work out. :-)
Thanks so much for reading and commenting!

The plate scene was actually something that happened as I was writing the story and I realised I needed to ratchet up the tension with Noah earlier, so I'm glad it worked in the way I intended.
I am definitely planning more in this universe. I have at least two ideas already, and one of them has the potential for me to be able to fit in some of Kris' anger and hurt, because you're right, it would absolutely make sense for him to feel those things. The whole situation is a mess for him, too.
Thanks again for sharing your thoughts--and making me think some more in the process! :-)

But what made the story worth it is that Kris' attitude really comes through - that this new Adam is a miracle, and that he's loved, and is a beautiful being in and of himself. Seeing that appreciated was so moving, and seeing how this new Adam could still be happy and so well-cared-for was both beautiful and reassuring. It creates hope even though hope of him ever again being who he was is gone ( ... )
