That's what I wrote, but then tried to go on a tangent more and I think I ultimately failed. She said she was looking for "more" and I was all, uh, well that is, in a nutshell, the style difference. Classical vs Romance....

Weird. The timing seemed perfect that he was seeking a room and you were seeking a roommate.

Yeah, the basic difference is that Mozart is Classical Era, and his music tends to have more intricate melodies, whereas Beethoven is Romantic Era, which is more sweeping, intended to paint a picture. That's my .05 cent explanation from many years of classical music training. I prefer Baroque Era music, myself (that's Bach, Vivaldi, etc.).

Heheh. After saying that it was romance vs. classical, I then said "but to heck with that, listen to Bach!!" because in the end, I prefer Bach. And Vivaldi, too.

Thank you!

Quoting one of my favorite authors: "Of the 3 great composers, Mozart tells us what it's like to be human, Beethoven tells us what it's like to be Beethoven, and Bach tells us what it's like to be the universe." -Douglas Adams
