new yorkers
where should i go vintage shopping when im there this weekend? i know re/dress isnt open yet so whats second best? i need cheap and fat and good. im dedicated to shopping this weekend. oh ya. and the lesbian herstory archives.

sorry i won't be open yet, but i hope you come back when we are :)

as far as recommendations go, the best place I can recommend is Goodwill in Downtown Brooklyn. It's clean and organized and has a tiny plus size section but also has plus stuff scattered throughout. I don't know how "vintage" it is, but the prices are cheap.

i don't really have any other than Beacon's Closet + Buffalo Exchange in Williamsburg. There's also a Beacon's Closet in Park Slope. Their stuff usually runs small but you never know what you find if you don't mind a hunt.

Also I would look at Housing Works, they're all over Manhattan.

i guess that was a decent list.

And if you're looking for strictly plus shopping, Lee Lee's Valise is awesome but $. and the Fulton Mall which is near the Goodwill has LB, Ashley Stewart and Rainbow.
