lj cut for photos, but here's what my life's been like lately:
- macaron hunting with limegummi (not pictured - i need to take the time to write my ~reviews~ so that'll be a later post)
- nail art (wheel samples within!)
- chicago renegade craft fair (wares within!)
- job hunting (still no dice, but i have a few ins at places, so who knows~?)
first nail art, of course. my mom asked me this morning to make a wheel for her to get inspiration from, so i took a little time to whip this up. influences are evident (modified basketcase weave from wah nails, used rebecca's tutorial for the braid, etc) but i really like how this is turning out so far. my favorite might be the cupcake.
soaps from soapily ever after! i saw her website on the craft fair list and KNEW i needed the moustache shave bar. she said it's nice to use on your legs, too, so it won't just be a cute novelty. XD i also couldn't resist the brain mini-soaps. so adorable!
also a greeting card of science cat from prim and plush. they had another one of scientist cat boiling some fluid over a bunsen burner, but this one had an edge of twistedness that i just couldn't resist.
