jinx seems to be recovering nicely. i still have to push her foot away when she tries to itch the wound, but she's taking her meds like a champ now (mostly because she knows she gets a treat afterwards) so i'm hoping she's on the fast track to recovery. i'm still not seeing any sign of hair growth, but at least i've made peace with the idea of a

ugh that job thing sucks. I would be really pissed, but yay for being happy with friends!

yeah, i'm at the end of my rope. i don't want to leave her in a lurch because she is on maternity leave, but on the other hand, i just got called today for a job interview! hopefully this means i'll have a terrible moment of listening to her lecture me about being ~irresponsible~ or something and then i'll be done with this job forever. if i'm lucky. :
