on friday, jinx had taken a turn for the worst. she had torn off even more of her fur and had essentially scalped herself from shoulder to chest on one side, including a pocket of skin hanging off of her under her armpit. friday after work, i rushed her to a new vet an hour away because her normal vet wasn't going to be in until tuesday

she's seriously the most adorable wobbler ever omg. i let her climb on the outside of their normal cage tonight a bit to interact with bell and she took about two steps before falling back into my hands. poor little meds-drunk bb~

she seems to be doing well enough with the meds and the shirt, so hopefully she's on the mend! though, ngl, i'm kind of having a field day with a drugged-out sugar glider in my care. she keeps trying to climb the cage bars, falling asleep midway, and sliding back down. XD

isn't she just the cutest little outpatient ever? <3 i kind of want to start buying barbie clothes and dressing her up full-time. too bad she'd just end up tearing it off.

this vet has seriously been a godsend! he's so knowledgeable and the office called the other day to see how she's doing and it's like she's going to a ~human doctor~ instead of an office that kind of... treats pets like they're not quite family members, you know? i'm so happy with this new place!

Your vet just sounds so amazing, and even his staff too! They must all really love their jobs (and animals, of course! :D)
