can we talk about how difficult it is to properly photograph 3-d nail art? i've tried sunlight, ambient house-lighting, harsh bulbs, soft bulbs, and shade. i guess the only thing i haven't tried is a proper light box WHICH I'D RATHER NOT HAVE TO PURCHASE. :anyway, i'm teaching myself 3-d acrylic sculpting. it's something we didn't learn in class ( Read more... )

The cat is adorable! And I love the colour detail on the yellow flower!

I hope the hand-made lightbox works so you can continue to take pictures! I'd love to see your progress :D

thanks! i wasn't sure how i felt about the yellow flower until i slept on it, but i'm definitely liking it better today. funny how that happens, right? :D

i just need to wait for a milk jug to get empty in this house before i start on the lightbox. it seems simple enough, so hopefully it'll help!

Especially if something takes a long time, or even if it seems too easy! You can end up so critical of yourself. But sleep conquers all XD
