Friends? You sound like my RL favorite partner-in-crime.
The National need a shrine. By the way, what about "Fake Empire", "Wasp Nest" and "Start a War"? They sorted me out more than once and I sang them out loud with friends after parties that changed my life. The kind that have an afterparty in the park with red wine and underwear showing and forgotten scarves and initials carved on trees and urban furniture. But I digress.
Sure! (Sorry it took so long to reply. I'm just coming back from hiatus.)
By the way, what about "Fake Empire", "Wasp Nest" and "Start a War"? Oh man, I LOVE all of those songs. "Fake Empire" is the perfect song to sing along to when you've stayed at the bar past closing with your best friend (who could be your worst mistake) and aren't ready to end the night yet.

Hey, pjvilar pointed me in the direction of your Inception recs, but I don't seem to have access to them. I like vodka and The National and hate Dick Cheney, and think everything you love is awesome, so friends, maybe?
So sorry I haven't gotten to this sooner. Added you. :)
Also, that recs post encompasses the first two months or so of Inception fandom. The rest of the ones I would absolutely rec can be found here, including the one that remains my ultimate favorite.
Hello from a rather recent Generation Kill fangirl who'd love to prod and poke through your journal for every last inkling and pixel of Bravo Two that may exist here.

So, sure thing! Those three things kinda, sorta, maybe dominate these parts at the moment. :D Welcome to the madness.
