Jesus, you made me love it even more, and I didn't think it was possible.

The only thing we can say about personal histories is this: They are each subjected to the whimsical folly of memory, loosely stored in protein synthesis pathways and chemical signaling cascades.

Our identity is governed by chance random fluctuations and interactions. Bring two atoms together and form a molecule. Watch many molecules evolve into two people making a pair.
I still adore this passage so much that I just CAN'T EVEN. *______* Simply stunning.

Try this experiment: Stand in front of a mirror. Look yourself in the eye. Stick your fingers in your ears. Draw a mental line to connect your fingertips. Draw separate lines through each pupil. Where these lines intersect the line between your ears is approximately where each ventral hippocampus lies.

Pretty cool, right?
:DD ♥

He props himself on an elbow. “You’re something else, Mal.”

She smiles, tiny and private, eyes veiled behind a curtain of hair. “I know.”*________ ( ... )

WHY ARE YOUR COMMENTS THE BEST THING IN THE HISTORY OF EVER EVER?

:DD ♥
Self-indulgence ftmfw! \o/ (It's true, though. I had to restrain myself from putting in how to find the dorsal part of the hippocampus. MY NERDITY, LET ME SHOW YOU IT.)

Also, I loved the scene at the Tate Britain.
That was all for you, bb. When I finished writing it out in my notebook last night, I had a stupid grin on my face and may have clapped. Out loud. To an empty house. &hearts (Same with Miles being there, haha.)

Also, each scene kind of made me feel like I was looking at the photos of just the two of them, all in sepia and intimate; little stories half-told.
Oh, Jesusfuck I want to curl up in this bit and just lay there forever and ever. MY BREATH LEGIT CAUGHT IN MY THROAT READING THAT, TRUFAX BB. WHAT IS THIS, I DON'T EVEN.

the atmosphere you always create in your stories, bb. It's just indescribable. Words do no justice to how I always feel while reading.Maybe I should've ( ... )

(WHY WERE YOU NOT ASLEEP, LIKE, 1,5 HOUR AGO?! It must've been the middle of the night or something over there! Hope it wasn't work that was keeping you up. ♥)

1. I HONESTLY THINK MIKA'S ARE USUALLY THE BEST, BUT. I do try? :D <3

2. I LOVE NERDITY. \o/

3. AWWWWWWWW. :') THANK YOU.

4. I DON'T EVEN KNOW, EITHER. Sometimes I just lay my fingers on the keyboard and THINGS HAPPEN.

5. WHICH ONE.
>:) ♥

6. YOU'RE WELCOME. <333 I'm SOSOGLAD that you wrote this, seriously. *happy sigh*
(*scratches head* I'd say - Vonnegut macro, Bacon, obviously, quotes from Graham Greene and maybe the one from G.W. Allport, and... that's all? :D)

Have a good day. ♥

(I FUCKED MY SLEEP SCHEDULE A WHILE AGO. Adrenaline + generalized anxiety = sleeping patterns of a new mother. &hearts)

1. IT'S NOT A COMPETITION. THE END. And you succeed! <3

2. THAT'S GOOD. BECAUSE IT'S HIGHLY UNLIKELY TO STOP.

3. :D

4. This is a good thing. A very very very good thing.

5. I meant the song. Jfc. I'm not allowed to think.

6. AND YOU SAY YOU CAN'T PROMPT. LIES LIES LIES.
(Three of them are correct! It's the bleachers pic instead of the Allport quote - that was actually me trying to work on thesis stuff, haha. :D)

If fandom puts you at the kid's table for this I'm going with you. I'm thinking of so many adjectives I want to use (fantastic, brilliant, mind-blowing) but I guess I'll just stick to I really, really like this <3

I loved this so much, bb. I ship Arthur/Mal so hard, and there needs to be more fics of them of them out! :) I can't get over this, I'm incoherent. just gah. Amazing bb. your writing is beautiful and all the bits on psychology that you put in there made the whole story that much more interesting and endearing, and all the things I love in fics. :)

Thanks! And man, I'm SO GLAD I'm not the only passenger on my crazy train. They're my not-so-secret pairing of DO WANT.

Incoherent is good. I'm delighted the psych bits worked for you. :)

Thanks so much! And yes, this pairing should have 340958340598304958 fics based on the "She was lovely" line alone.
