ChemGuy and I have been reminiscing lately. One year ago, a lot of pretty exciting things were happening for us. I thought I'd share some of our fond recollections with all of you, partly because I think you'll enjoy them. And partly because I want to have them recorded so that we will remember them. We haven't gotten any puppies yet, but I have given a tentative approval for a "starter" dog. Which we hope will be a dachshund. ChemGuy is hoping for a matched pair, but I'm not sure he realizes that means it'll be a long while before he gets his big black lab...

We saw the *cutest* matched pair of dachshund puppies at the humane society in The Valley, but it wasn't the right time to adopt. Luckily, right after we finished visiting with them, a nice young couple adopted them both. I'm glad they weren't split up.

And, no, I am not the least surprised. And thank you. :)
