why is it that when i write something as simple as cursive = april 25th i get comments but when i actually write anything no one seems to give a shit?

I think that people find it easy to respond to something that they can relate to, such as their love for Cursive, but always find it hard to say something to someone else when they talk about their personal life that they may know nothing about. I don't know, that's why I think why.
