i was talking to megan tonight.. and she said i won and that she would grant me one wish.. and i started to say something.. and then i remembered i don't want to wish anymore.

i made wishes all the time.. when an eyelash fell out.. when the clasp on my necklace hit the charm.. on the first star i saw.. tossing coins into a fountain.. shooting stars

I agree, but at the same time it's nice to think that maybe it'd come true.
I never see shooting stars but we have a shower of them in the mountains around August or something and me and my friends go up there and sit and watch all of them, it's purdy.

Wishes are just things that we know won't come true just by saying it, just like advice is the answer we know, but we don't want to hear. Some people will never have what we have, some people will settle for less, and then a select few will feel the way we feel about eachother...i wish everyone could feel the way we do beth, I love you baby
