My Chemical Romance Gig at Manila, Philippines
Right, so I'm back after rocking out and screaming with other fans last night.
We went to the venue as early as 5PM to meet up with other fellow MCRmies PH. We hand out our gift (crab ashtray) to the meet and greet winner (Jackie).
These are the people that I'm with outside the venue.
The one on the center won the contest.
While waiting for the gate to open we make a banner for the gig right at that place. We caught the attention of one of the news reporter who's a correspondent for the gig, they filmed us for good 5 or 10 mins. we are totally screaming and doing hand signs we were told it'll be put on air on tv tonight. That's 630 PM here Saturday.
Inside the venue, I checked the chairs and to my surprise it was tied So we brainstormed on how to make a mosh without attracting the attention of some stupid bouncers. Front act started, people remained seated while we are having our warm up. Little bit of jump here, little bit of headbanging there. Vocalist saw us and asked the other people to participate. When he gave the go signal we ran fast to our right going to the barricade. It was fun seeing other people's faces, they're so pissed off. After the act, we went back to our seat, waited for 30 mins. before the actual show starts. When they stopped the background music and they opened the backdrop we were on our feet again going to the barricade. We grasped the barricade as tight as possible cause people behind us are trying to make their way to it. Luckily enough, we stayed there for the rest of the gig.
I rocked out when the 1st song came on - This is how I disappear while my other hand was holding the barricade. It was so much fun rocking out without giving a damn to other people. I stepped on some few feet Screamed at someone's ear Pushed other people to move out of my way. I only got few decent photos of the band cause I'm really focusing my attention to them and my moshing. Oh btw, we were able to sneak in VIP seats, I'm only on Gold and the stage from my real seat was like 30 rows away. When we ran towards the barricade we were only 10 rows away from the stage and fuck you could really see them.
Gerard has improved his vocal chords. Stage performance was amazing, totally hyper. I love it when he keeps on cursing it puts me back to reality that he's really there on the stage performing.
I'm in awe with Ray's afro, damn his hair was too fluffy and looks soft when touched.
Frankie keeps on spitting on the vip people and keeps on throwing his already consumed bottled water..woohoo free shower from Frankie. He also smoked in one song while playing
Mikey, he's not shy anymore, which is nice cause we can really see him headbanging like crazy.
Bob, was in full throttle, hitting his drums like he hasn't had a broken ligaments a few months ago.
All in all the gig was amazing, when they played some b-sides we went berserk and screamed our fucking lungs out. It's ashame though that only few people knows them. When Desert Song came on, I was screaming "it's Desert fucking song!!! Yeah!" people around me give me a wtf look they didn't know what I'm talking about except from the rmies of course. Hahaha.

After the show I was dehydrated, my ears were ringing (until now), my knees were numb and my heart beat was palpitating. I slept for 2 hours then off to work again. Drank 2 bottles of beer to feel sleepy. So that's what happened last night.
Totally totally enjoyed there show. I hope they get back here asap. I still have a hangover of the gig.
