A fanmix, wut? :3
CUT THE WIRES - A MCCOY FANMIX
Star Trek XI
Gen, seven songs.
CUT THE WIRES
01. Opposite Day - Andrew Bird
Today was supposed to be the day
Molecules decide to change their form
Laws of physics lose their sway
Youthful indiscretion now is suddenly the norm
With the good kids sprouting horns, yeah yeah
And today was supposed to be
Not just another day
02. New Bones - So Many Dynamos
I would believe what you believe
If you'd only stop believing.
If it's such a miracle then
I'm starting over again.
I need new bones, I need them.
03. Grounds for Divorce - Elbow
Mondays is for drinking to the seldom seen kid
I've been working on a cocktail called "Grounds For Divorce", whoa
Polishing a compass that I hold in my sleep, whoa
Doubt comes in on sticks, but then he kicks like a horse, whoa
There's a Chinese cigarette case and the rest you can keep
04. First Train Home - Imogen Heap
Temporal deadzone
Where clocks are barely breathing
Yet no one cares to notice for all the yelling
All night clamor to hold it together
I want to play - don't wait - forms in the hideaway
Want to get on with getting on with things
05. Golden Cage - The Whitest Boy Alive
You knew what you wanted and you fought so hard
Just to find yourself sitting in a golden cage
In a golden cage
So of course I miss you and miss you bad
But I also felt this way when I was still with you
06. Dance of Death - Andrew Bird
(instrumental)
07. When Water Comes to Life - Cloud Cult
And underneath your ribs
They'll find a heart-shaped locket
An old photograph
Of you in daddy's arms
And then they'll sew you closed
And give you back to the water
From where we're all born

notes I made this mix to highlight Bones' outlook on the world. He's a scared, emotional, scientific man whose had his fair share of troubles in the past. A few songs deal with his medical profession, some with his reflections on his child and ex-wife, and some about his current situation.
If you'd like any of these songs individually, please ask and I'll see what I can do. :)
