some good news: The peace plan for Darfur has been agreed upon! At least by one of the more major rebel groups and the government (which would be disbanding its militia? kinda crazy). So hopefully this is a big step for them in the right direction ( Read more... )

I disagree. He was invited to a comedy event, and instead of making it a goal to be funny he repeated a bunch of attacks on the president that people have been repeating for three years now. There wasn't anything new in his act, and it wasn't entertaining unless you were coming from the "I hate the president and this guy agrees with me, and he's doing it in front of the president!" angle.

For the record, I hadn't been talking about his routine at the White House Correspondents' Dinner, which is what I'm assuming you're thinking of. I'd agree that that was a bit too much to be in good taste. I am far from hating the president, but I am also a fan of good humor... and that was not quite it ( ... )
