... how there are no fandoms without the usual shipwrecks.

My three peeves that originated from trying the waters of a fandom with the tip of my toes.

1 There was the auction at FG. I bid and won a drawing by an artist present. I was really happy when I was told that instead of a sketch done then and there, if I could wait, I would get a ( Read more... )

That serenade, love, has a place in my heart. You sang for me in front of all those people! Now that is special!

On the artist... I'm sure she has just forgotten. Artists are artistic. Feel free to use how sick I've been to advantage. I'm shameless and this thing has to have some use other than tick me off.

#3?

Wait, Number Three. I remember that. But you lived with all your limbs intact. And I didn't have to get you bail money either!

Wow, that was before the Urchins even existed!

At least my kids got a kick ass Auntie out of the whole #3 event.

#3 started what was the beginning of a survivor's group.

And also, the bed survived, intact, as well.

re: urchins. Funny how times change and whole people now live when we all feel like time is really nonlinear.

Yep, before the Dynamic Duo and before I became Auntie Chen. I clearly remember you rescuing me from becoming a Klingon sex slave at the lobby - good times!

#3 made us stronger. Though I still remember Christy saying I'd be the first in line were things not to be fine all of a sudden.

I can just picture you sitting on a doorstep in SF. Nah, I want it back, but not that badly. It was one of the last things Mr. Gaiman signed for me and I doubt I'll be able to do the whole (mad scene) autograph line thing again.

Thank you. I was lucky it was a very short one. The journey, not the Sandman.

I like the Doctor icon. He looks so happy. I know it's sad, but I still miss that doctor.

I'm told one more year. Give or take a lifetime. The whole issue is with the time I'm up there in the sky. I wish I had a T.A.R.D.I.S., but then don't we all?
