“I know of a young American woman in Italy who found the grocery stores there very strange,” Kinsolving said. “‘They have no food here,’ she said. ‘Only things to make food from.’”
So, the last two times I cracked an egg, there were two yolks in it instead of one. (The image of two chicks emerging from a single egg is somewhat disturbing...) And then today, I get a teabiscuit from Tim Horton's. It is distinctly speech-bubble shaped, instead of the normal triangle. All the food is going crazy!
