It's been getting steadily colder, and quite frankly squatting in abandoned apartment buildings with only her hoodie and skirts for company is beginning to get stale.

And uncomfortable.

And--well, honestly, it seems silly to be a martyr when people have yet to attack her on sight.

Plus she's not seen Daniel in a dog's age. Which might, perhaps, be why Anna is making her careful way across the courtyard, shotgun held loosely in one hand.

Better to be safe than zombified, honestly.

He blinks. Pitchfork still in one hand, Daniel opens the outside door. He doesn't quite stare, but it's an effort.

"Anna! You're-" He stops, and smiles. "Hello."

She smiles back, still carefully close-mouthed, even after all this time.

"Ambulatory? Yes. It's a skill of mine."

"And hello to you, too."

"'Here', is what I meant to say. But ambulatory is also an excellent career choice. Low standards mean you can meet them." His smile widens.

"It's good to see you. Come in? It's cold out." He feels it easier, at the moment.
