State of the Meg

Hmm, that worked surprisingly well. I charted out my priorities for the week, then did the important things! Now I need to repeat this trick this week. So now I'm on track for a bunch of big hard projects. Woot!

Smiles is having a big problem with separation. There's a lot of screaming. Solutions are being worked on.

Yoga is awesome.

Remember how Max used to wail and wail when I went to leave, and it broke my heart, but ultimately it was most useful for me to just get out the door quickly? Is it like that all over again?

Yup, pretty much. Last week she cried later in the day at preschool, and then Sunday she was upset hours into babysitting.

Yesterday at preschool she was horrible at drop off, but then she was happy after five minutes apparently.

So we're all hoping tomorrow's drop off will go more smoothly.

Priorities rock! I love crossing off items on my todo list, especially the high prio ones.

Yoga, cool. I've been wondering if I should try it.

hmm, priorities, I ought to try that. Lately I am ruled by the urgency of a project, not importance. Things without looming deadlines get put off ( ... )

The impressive part is that there were three months of absolutely no problems with drop off at preschool. (wait, there was ONE morning where she realized she was still hungry).

But for the past week separations have been very hard.
