Wings Over Gatineau-Hull
Yesterday my Sweetie and I spent a lovely late summer afternoon at the Wings Over Gatineau Airshow. First Flight!
I flew an airplane today, for the first time ever!
My Sweetie bought me a flight lesson as a gift. It included a short pre-flight talk followed by a half hour introductory flight. I didn't get to take off or land, of course, but I did some taxiing (trickier than it looks) and got to fly once we were in the air. Way cool!

One thousand days in a row!
Every day my Sweetie, kes_zone , does at least a half hour of physical activity. This activity can range from something as simple as walking, to working out in the gym, to snorkelling - the main thing is that it has to be an activity over and above what she would normally do in her day-to-day routine (i.e. housework or gardening don't count). All loaded up and ready to go!
We lucked out - the van we got is a stretch version of the usual size we rent. Those extra couple of feet sure made a differnce in ease of loading. Apparently size does matter!
