Today I re-read the Adolfo Casares novella "The Invention of Morel", and after poking through a couple of analyses online I found myself curious about "Last Year at Marienbad", a surreal 1960s French film which appears to have been inspired by the novella

I love the 21st century too, as I had long been familiar with the film "Last Year at Marienbad" but had not been aware of the neat Blur video homage -- until reading your Livejournal. Thanks!
