Evolving Mona Lisa
Via Slashdot: Roger Alsing used genetic programming to arrive at a remarkably good approximation of the "Mona Lisa" using only 50 semi-transparent polygons. Basically, a "DNA string" represented the polygons to draw: the "organism" is the canvas, and the fitness to survive was determined simply by how well the organism matched the real Mona Lisa ( Read more... ) -
Crayon Physics and World of Goo
Now this looks like a cool game, especially if you read "Harold and the Purple Crayon" as a little kid:
