my well sheltered cousin (in socal) posted this image of him (yellow shirt) with my 1st cousins in the philippines on his myspace.  my cousin nel (manok na gala) and uncle allan in the phils recently saw it and they emailed me upset and asking about the comments.  they responded too.    i'm just so pissed right now...

your cousin (the one in the yellow shirt) is pathetic, but this is normal behaviour for someone in the first stage of minority identity development. in other words, the poor kid hates himself and wants to be white.

he'll get over it, if he can escape from his posse of racist white friends.
