aww jess i'm so sorry to hear about your grandad.

you sound really lucky that you could have been so close to him. all of my grandparents were quite distant.

it's great you have so many good memories of the time you spent with him, and i'm sure it made him really happy that you found time for him as well.

that's all you could have done really...
it seems like he's had a good life.
