A pregnant pause in the air. Then, there’s her fingers in his cheek and her lips on his and everything else stop matters.
Some minutes later.
She looks at him with this smile that is different with her usual false sparkly smiles or triumphant smirk. She says, “And here I thought you weren’t going to say anything.”
Then she moves to get up and his hands reach out automatically to her and he find himself don’t want to let her go just yet. She looks at him in question.
“Can we, umm… like… do that thing again? Like just now?”

He didn’t give shit about what-should-or-what-should-not-be.
She’s okay with it.
It’s all that matters.
I can see clearly now, the rain is gone,
