Kaliedescope is the double drabble that fansee wrote for the Challenge in Two Parts. Kaliedescope was inspired by brianslave68's marvelous banner (also beneath the cut).
Oh Cherie, You got it so right. This is so grand. It should be on the side of buses, on the back of cereal boxes, in lockets around our necks. On National Public Radio. It kills me to be so cliche but I heart you, my dear. I heart you. Whatever the hell that means. Great that you give this to us on Memorial Day..What memories, indeed. Love Selma
Oh Fansee.. I should have known..I should have seen your hand in this It's absolutely perfect. And I agree, this other format makes it even more perfect. Is this something you wrote while Sammie is away. If so, you should pay big money to keep her somewhere every once in a while. I'll take her. But not FULL time. But you have to keep writing.
Quite the contrary. I was scribbling away while also trying to wash every scrap of clothes she owns plus figure out where I put the suntan lotion and aloe cream when I tidied up last September!
I can put Sammie on a bus for your house tonight. She'll have a suitcase full of dirty clothes with her.
We have two more fics to post, probably one tomorrow and one on Monday. FanSee
Wow! This is even more effective posted in the format you used here. I absolutely adore the 'coming and going' and the 'coming and staying' lines. So absolutely perfect!
A question though....is there a reason 'one eyed jack' is underlined? I feel like I'm missing something with that.
I underlined One-Eyed Jack because it's a title. Brian was watching "One-Eyed Jacks" when Justin came to pick up his computer. Maybe I should put the title in quotes? I prefer understandable to correct.
As soon as Kaliedescope was posted on the Challenge, I wished I'd formatted it like this, and if I'd sent it in with that formatting, that's how it would have gone up. Grrr. Better late than never? FanSee
P.S. You can see I've uploaded at least one of your icons. M-wah!

Yeah, I remember that he was watching that movie when Justin stopped over. It's probably better to keep it underlined than quoted since you used quotations for the actual lines from the show.
I was probably being stupid....I kept putting my mouse over that phrase because it was underlined, thinking it was going to take me somewhere! :D
I've read this a couple of times today as I wasn't sure what I felt. What I can say now is that I really liked it. I particularly liked the 2nd 'chapter' as I could feel Justin - and I do like this.
It was surprisingly difficult to write-I kept going back and tweaking it-and some of the tweaks were pretty major. I did love brianslave68's graphic, however, and wanted to do it justice. FanSee

I spent more time and brain cells on those 200 words than I do on some stand-alone fics. Odd, huh? FanSee
