Another Time, Another Place

When the banners were posted for the Challenge in Two Parts, fansee took one look at the Wild West banner and went nuts. Apparently she had been waiting all her life to write 19th C. Brian and Justin. She dragged me along with her, and the story below is the result. I blame gundamnook for inspiring fansee with the awesome banner below the cut.

You and fansee are truly amazing! I've been rereading this and every time I fall deeper in love more and more. I love the imagery. I think that's what makes it so perfect. I feel like I'm right there with them. XDD

I'm glad I inspired fansee to create this amazing story. If you two ever need me to inspire you again (or make banners for you), just let me know! And I'm glad you used the Justin/Emmett icon. After I made it, I loved it more than the Brian icon! X3

Thanks again you two!!

I'm afraid we have a mutual admiration society and yes, we just may be calling upon you in the future since my graphics program went by the way of my ex-husband. Thanks again and glad we did you proud!

You never know! Maybe one of these days we'll be transported back to San Francisco. No promises, but not slamming the door on the possibility, either. FanSee

This is great. I saw it this morning but work called so I've only just finished reading. You are going to write some more in this universe, aren't you? From the language to the description of clothing etc you were spot on. I really enjoyed reading it!

Congratulations for getting through it. It's the longest on-off we've ever written.

Glad you liked it and - as always - thanks for commenting. FanSee

i wanted it to go on forever. the time period and the way you incorporated "babylon" into it was amazing. i felt as though i was on the train watching the poker game, at the diner when he ate with emmett and definitely in their bedroom. what got me most was how you made the lines from the show fit in so seamlessly with the rest of the story. a true work of art by a great writer.
this was a wonderful story. will there be more?

the banner is beautiful. wherever did the picture of justin and emmett come from?

i wanted it to go on forever.

Awww. What a great thing to say!

a true work of art by a great writer.

Two great writers. This time it was my story arc - not our usual division of duties - but chering wrote Brian, from backstory to Babylon to great sex.

As for the picture of Justin and Emmett...the graphic is by gundumnook, so she'd know for sure...but I think it's from a magazine spread. Maybe chering remembers? FanSee

Yes, the Justin/Emmett picture is from a photo shoot that Randy and Peter did for Out Magazine (I forget the month and year). There is another picture from that photo shoot where Randy is sitting in a high back chair and Peter is standing beside him! ^^

Oh, btw, that is an a after the d in my LJ name, not an u. It's gundamnook. ^^;

Mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa. I apologize for mis-spelling your name.

I love how you matched that Emmett/Justin picture with the Wyatt Earp picture...it really got my creative juices bubbling. FanSee

Glad you fought your way through this - it's so long that I thought no one would finish it - but we couldn't find anything to cut.

And that finish? Pure chering. I agree: perfect. FanSee
