Across the Sands

This is fansee here, intruding on chering's LJ: The following fic was written as part of the Small Things Made Large Challenge. The small things were 50 different drabbles which were the basis for 23 fics, of which I wrote three (three drabbles and three fics). First comes dirtylttlescret's drabble in italics, followed by my fic.
