Why do people at my school feel the need to display their geekiness?

So today is pi day and i probably would have forgotten if it were not for the math club(which is apparently very large) who decided to remind us all. And how do they remind us? O they decided to write pi out along all the sidewalks on campus in chalk. So walking to class this morning i saw a whole bunch numbers everywhere i walked. I just found it
