'Weird, Twisted And Bizarre'

Well it's been nearly 24 hours since I watched Posey's interview and I'm still angry and upset about it.

Here’s the thing:
I don’t mind that Posey isn’t into Sterek. I DO mind him being offensive about those who are.

Calling it “Weird, twisted and bizarre" is essentially saying that those who ship it are equally so. That’s both offensive and deeply ( Read more... )

If any fan is into Teen Wolf mostly for the Sterek stuff then you know what Posey? That’s okay.

Well, you know I'm not into Sterek and watching Teen Wolf NOT for Sterek, but I mean, I mainly watch - for example - Almost Human for John/Dorian and their relationship and I slash the living hell out of them, and if either - Michael or Karl - would say something like that about the ship I would probably be pissed...

But the thing is... well... What's even worse than him saying something like that is the fact that he's not even PART of that pairing. Hoechlin and O'Brien bring it up by themselves, everyone brings that subject up, it's always talked about and the 2 people that SHOULD be offended (if anyone) should be THOSE and not someone who isn't even part of that pairing, so there's no reason for him to talk like this!

*hugs*

Exactly. The John/Dorian relationship is the main reason I watch 'Almost Human' too and you're right, it'd be devastating if either of those actors were horrible about it.

To me, it almost seems like a child throwing a tantrum because people would rather talk about Sterek than say, Scott & Kira. And yeah, Hoechlin and Dylan do talk about it and have no problem with it, so neither should he.

*hugs you back*

The thing is also: The question was NOT directed at him, so why he felt like he had to answer is beyond me. He didn't have to say ANYTHING but he did, and he hurt a lot of people by doing so, and this is an absolute no-go, if you ask me...

Both - Hoechlin AND Holland - tried to save something (Holland with her LGBT comment), but the words were already out. I felt like Holland was close to kicking the guy!

Yeah, you could see from her face that she recognised what a huge mistake he'd made.

I just wish that he'd kept his mouth shut. He's caused so many problems.
