Once again the time has come to describe the exciting things that have happened in my life since my last post.

I really should keep notes. :grin:

OK, I suppose some interesting things have happened.  So I'll try and think of them.

never been to a funeral before? Egad! Do you hjave no aunts o runcles? What about grandparents?

All my aunts and uncles are still alive and my parents did not make us go to funerals for grandparents (who did whilst I was in my teens).

In light of your comment I can see that I've been quite lucky in this respect, really.

Great news about all the work and academic stuff - that's seriously fantastic.

And - did you really say that you got MEDICAL CARE IN CANBERRA? After only a year??? I didn't think that happened, like, ever. I go to Southern Highlands Private if I can manage it.

I got excellent medical care after being on the waiting list for 15 months although part of that would be the fact I was in ICU for a couple of days. And since I was a public patient it didn't cost me a penny.
