Global warming is a natural process -- enhanced global warming is the problem. And really, there were always going to be bad consequences, since it carries back to the start of MEDC industrialisation onwards, but the fact is that we can still have some little impact on just how severe the changes will be in the future, and how best to deal with the effects.

Besides, I would take more notice of the actual reports themselves, rather than the just media's representation, since, well, it is still journalism.
