I've never seen Avatar before and consequently I have no idea what's going on half the time, but I really like the format of the fic: it matches perfectly how memories shape themselves in our minds - not as one smooth transition between days and months and years, but snapshots of things that matter to us most. Although I know the fic isn't retrospective, I think the way its written mirrors how thoughts form in our minds, and gives a good insight into the emotions & thoughts of the main character.

Or maybe all the neurobiology in human bio is finally getting to me xD

Regardless, a fic well done, as always =)

wow... i never thought of it like that.

now that i come to think of it, this is in the same format as my word-dumps. i mean yeah, sure, they were meant to be snapshots in time, but i never really thought of them as insights into zuko's mind.
