I finally saw The Avengers courtesy of Netflix and an evening spent with the philosophy instructor, who is awesome. I liked it! Black Widow is badass and Iron Man is Iron Man and Tom Hiddleston (Loki) is an incredible actor. I met with a friend last Sunday who was passing through Athens (L., the fencing coach extraordinaire), and it was great in a lot of ways. Since I've gained a few pounds at camp and have been eating meat more frequently now that I'm not preparing my own food, I'm going to attempt to donate blood tomorrow. (The last few times I've tried, my hemoglobin was at the low end of normal - which is slightly too low to give blood.) -
