It's been a while. :) It's not much and my photoshop skills suck continue to be really, really bad. So I hope the music and the drabbles make up for it.

American Football wasn't just any game. It was an outright war that depended on not only strength, speed and stamina, but especially the ability to plan and make the right decisions in ordder to win. Hiruma Youichi knew that very well and made sure that he had everything in his cards to help him win.
So when the girl he once saw as nothing more but an extra slave for Deimon signalled him from the bench, anxious to ensure that he knows what she knows, he understood there and then by the way she looked at him that she wasn't just giving information.
She was telling him, and Deimon, to win.

Anezaki Mamori hated how Hiruma Youichi always had his way somehow. She hated how all he had to do was just pull out his little black book and his path forward would just open up to him. She hated how he pushed everyone to their limits just so that they could do his bidding. She hated how he'd tease her just for the heck of it... or also to make her forget how stressed out she was. She hated how he'd push himself so hard that he risked breaking himself just to get what he desired.
But most of all she hated how no matter how annoying, evil and mean he can be at times, she still found herself by his side, cheering him on.

No matter how many people around him demanded that he change his ways before he suffers severe punishment, Hiruma would just sneer at them and would either outright lie to sneak his way out of trouble or go directly at their faces and scare the living shit out of them. He won't listen to them. And he made this very clear with the Fucking Manager as well. There was no way in hell was he going to play nice.
Unless he saw benefits in them. And as the Fucking Manager spoke about the team supporting each other, he was glad that he had the chance to work with someone as intelligent as her, and then thought he probably should treat her more nicely.

During their game against Teikoku for the Christmas Bowl, Hiruma was laughing with glee when Teikoku struggled to decode his snap counts before their plays.
If only they knew he merely had to glance at the bench to know what to do next, and they were off.
She was someone he would never replace on that bench.

Looking back, Mamori sometimes wondered how did she get to where she was. It definitely wasn't a path she had in mind when she first stepped into Deimon. But for some reason, she felt no regrets. Even though people around her wondered why did she continue to stay on this path, with a known maniac bent on winning. And though she would agree at times at how much of a maniac he is, she still could not see herself doing anything else during her years in Deimon.
The feelings she felt while she was the Manager of Deimon's American Football club were feelings that nothing she knew could replace. And that was probably why she continued to walk on this path. With him.

He needed her. Not want, need. The more he thought about it, the more he knew that she would always be the only manager he could work with. He tried to be aloof when he told her this as they talked about where to go once they graduated from Deimon. He wasn't sure if she wanted to still be with him especially since the Fucking Shrimp won't be in his team.
She agreed to be with him without hesitation. And when he asked her if she was certain and had no doubts, she replied, "You need me".
He teased her that she was like a puppy following him everywhere and that he now has to feed her creampuffs everyday, just to hide the joy in his heart.

The crowd cheered as Saikyoudai scored another touchdown. Mamori looked around her and smiled to see the amount of support the team was getting. They knew that the last tactic was very Hiruma-ish and it has been a while since they've seen such a play. It was almost nostalgic for her. She then noticed Hiruma looking at her and she signaled to him the rest of the information she gathered from the last play as well as what to do for the next. "You can do this," she signaled.
Hiruma grinned at her. "We can do this," he signaled back and then went into position.
Mamori was amused by this for a moment. Then she picked up the camera and began to plan the following play, both knowing that they were not alone in this raging battle.

Finally, done! I've been wanting to make this fanmix ever since the manga ended. I wanted these songs to show not only the different sides of HiruMamo's relationship but most of all to note the progress they made from the beginning up until Saikyoudai. I haven't written any forms of fics or drabbles in a LONG time so I'm very rusty and I hope I didn't confuse anyone with repetitive words or odd sentences. I'll do my best to fix them.
