No, the interview from hell was for a position with a domestic violence shelter. The job I got was with the Minnesota State University Student Association. I'll be a campus organizer (which is pretty much what I did with NARAL...again, it seems to be less about the damn degree and more about experience and not being an idiot). I love it because I'll get to travel around the state and whatnot. I'm in charge of the Northern Region, which means Bemidji, Moorehead and St. Cloud state are all in my territory. I'll be helping students organize aroun various legislative efforts to keep higher education affordable for all students. It doesn't pay much, but it's enough to pay bills and live comfortably if frugally. No roommates though...with good budgeting, I should be able to afford my own apartment! Yay!
