Haha okay before any of you go into concerned mode, this has nothing to do with anyone in RL XD
This entry is more focused on one of my favorite Glee characters/actors: Blaine/Darren =D (Kurt/Chris being the other favorite of course...honestly this show wouldn't even catch the slightness of my interest without any of them around). As many of you have read, I have been getting into announcing my love for my Glee OTP but in contrast to my
Concerned Break Up Post from a couple of weeks ago, I don't really seem too concerned about their storyline to the point where I would try to watch Glee as religiously as before, surprisingly. In fact I surprisingly don't really seem to care so much about Blaine/Darren showing up so much on Glee, and it has nothing much to do with Blaine hogging a lot of the solos (though I do agree that Blaine is getting too much solos, but not hating at all him for that reason).
During the past few weeks since the Glee hiatus, I officially joined the StarKid fandom =D. It is true that even when the last episodes of Glee before the hiatus, I was already working on AVPM, but after watching the highly popular musical parody, I wanted more. Not only did I fall in love with pre-Glee Darren, I also fell in love with all the members of StarKid!
So I really wished Blaine was written as a senior in Glee, and even though I am a big Klaine fan, I would of still approved of the long distance concept with Blaine attending college in a different state. And as I mentioned I don't want this plan because I think Blaine getting a lot of solos is becoming a little ridiculous, but it is because...as you probably already guessed it by now...I wished Darren had more time for StarKid again.
Really for those who think Darren is a big hog's head as compared to Blaine on Glee for being the star of Glee now...I really have to put it bluntly for those who believe it: You all need to get your privates cut off with a rusty, but sharp chainsaw or put yourself down for seppuku XP.
Darren deserves a lot of credit for StarKid as he did contribute in composing & writing just about all the musical scores in a lot of the productions they have done and he is one of the co-founders of StarKid Productions. So without him, StarKid would of honestly been not the same without him...and that goes for even now.
StarKid Productions is truly amazing once you push away most of just the AVPM hype and look more into the other productions =). I am still working on getting through their other works, but that makes it just as enjoyable. These are what I have seen so far by order:
A Very Potter Musical
A Very Potter Sequel
Little White Lie
...and currently working on Holy Musical B@man!
I need to do a whole post (as a sticky note of course) on my reviews on each musical when I got the time. Also I can't wait for the official copies of The Bully Book to come out (as a price for getting into StarKid late, I didn't get a chance to get my hands on the unofficial free copy of the novel on e-book =() the day after Christmas. I have yet to pre-order it but will do so when I get the money for it! Hopefully there is some kind of feature of it regarding the continuation of the plot for Little White Lie.
Anyway I'm babbling more than a brook in the wilderness. Need to get my head in the game with continuing with hw and praying that I will have a little more free time to continue posting my Yama Baby fic! See you guys again (hopefully) soon!
