Reaction to Sho's rumor (recycled rumor perhaps?)

So I'm pretty sure everyone has having/had a wonderful weekend, whether you celebrated Thanksgiving or not. I have had pretty good holiday and top it all off that I woke up this morning with some rumor news that I have been waiting for awhile now! =D. Rumors floating around again about Sakurai Sho and Mori Izumi were out on a date based on an anon

sometimes I feel poor for the fans who feel like that
looks like their life ends when their idol get married or have girlfriend :(

really it is ridiculous for some of them to think that though...yeah i sincerely bet that arashi members are well aware of some of those really sensitive fans that will drop out of the face of the earth when they get married (with those fans thinking this type of boycotting will work). would they care? as idols who care for their fans, yes...it is so sad when celebs can never win their fans over on what they do despite how fans did look up to them...

now that's what I call a "mature" fan... hahahahha... Didn't know Izumi is Sho's childhood friend... I thought it was Marie & her sister... heheheh ... YOu can't deny the fact that Sho comes from a "traditional" Japanese family and having arranged marriages is common...
Although.... I still want him to end up with SUzue Nana ( his co anchor in News Zero)... I love looking at the two of them...

we fans just have to accept the fact that wishing for them to end up with us is like wishing for the moon... and that only happens in the fanfics we write and read... IF... that indeed happens then maybe you are number 1 in God's list (just kidding) hehehehe

Exactly! Our wistful hopes should be far beyond us if we are serious about our determination XD Haha who are you kidding, being their "forever" is a God-send gift...but again as a serious responsibility because that might put people in the public eye...as great it is to be a person to flaunt that they have what women (or even men) want...one slip up or a misinterpreted move...society will want to crush the lucky person XD so it has its good and bad which is why it will take a strong person to be their significant other...all the more reason to admire the person who steps up to the plate...

Haha funny how you said that because Mao Kobayashi was rumored with Sho but she also ended up as married...so I guess it's clear: No NewsZero women for Sho XDD *giggles*

I really was depressed though, having heard that rumor at first. The rumor went, I thought: Sakurai Sho is getting married! ::P And although my brain fully supports the fact that he's openly dating - should the rumor have been true - there's still that dull ache somewhere near the chest region. And well, it's just me, but I don't think that's a bad thing at all. ::P It just means you're attached to the man, and that's only to be expected of a serious fan.

I agree with your opinions about those who threaten to leave the fandom though. I think Sho-wifeys will learn to deal with Mori Izumi - or whoever, actually - in time. We can all coexist, and I suppose we can all work together to make SS happy?

I get that you were depressed, and like I mentioned in the post, I have been in that position where I was depressed about with Sho's other dating rumors...but now I just have a different perspective since that has had been some years already when I reacted to my first Sho rumor. Like I said I was surprised that after first hearing this rumor, I expected me to go into another whirlwind of sorrow...but I didn't...I actually turned out to be happy for him

Forgive me if I may have offended you. I don't think I'm capable of explaining myself properly. ::D It's just that I think all fans have their versions of attachment to the members, and I think all those versions of attachment - whether it's the type the leads people to sub videos, or the type that simply makes them smile at the thought of their ichiban - are the very definition of what being a fan is. So... I think I'm trying to say... one's personal definition of attachment is what makes one a serious fan. Some people get depressed, some don't. If one doesn't have an opinion about issues like this, either like or dislike, then one isn't a 'serious' fan. For me. ::P I think, that's how I see it. Hahaha

I see where you are coming from on the definition of the fan, but even if it is dislike, I find some reactions from fans going a little too far and not to mention doing emotional harm on themselves by being really depressed on something that is meant to happen...like it's okay to be sad but the indication of someone being "depressed" is kinda heavy because of the true meaning of the word.

Ah~ that's the reason behind the depression...that you haven't had the chance to know them that long and for them to go away slowly unexpectedly is pretty tough. For me I kinda envy those who have been in the fandom since the beginning in comparison to my four years...so I am somewhat on the same boat as you...but yeah even when the time comes, we still have those amazing memories and moments we share with Arashi in some way...let's not forget the members will think of their fans as well for the rest of their lives and be grateful that we were one of the people to make them shine =D

eh? really? where did the rumor came from? anyway, im ok with mori izumi.. she seems to be a nice girl. and i agree with the points you've provided. she may be not the girl i wanted for him.. sigh... but I think she complements him.. and she can handle sho better than other girls around him (at least that's what i think.) hihi...

Haha it was from an anon fan's blog (might be ohno-style from Tumblr since she did admit to something along the lines of "getting her blog carried away with a silly fantasy of hers" but I seriously don't blame her since it was an accident if she was the one that started it)...source of the rumor has been all over so it's hard to tell who conjured up this recycled(?) or present day(?) rumor
