mhm, i have been curious for a while, but if someone adds you, but you don't add them back, they cans till read your locked entries, right? i'm pretty sure that's how it works...in that case i hate all this random adding -_- i mean, since my friend cut i have more 'additional' friends then real friends lol. So um...yeah i guess i have to lock it to certain people now *too lazy*

Nope, they can't read your locked entries unless you add them back. All they can read are your public posts. I've set my default entries to 'friends' under the account settings (click on the privacy tab,) that way I don't have to filter stuff each time I post.

I've already said so many times that I don't mind having new friends, I just don't like having stalkers. *sigh*

oh. really??? well that's good to know :) I think i thought that way because i have friended people who have locked entries and as soon as i added them i could read their stuff so...?

i did that before but then i needed to make a public entry and it wouldn't let me XD Now i just do it all manually XD

You're probably just able to read their public entries, if they added you back then that's when you can read the filtered ones. :) I tried it with a dummy account on this lj, and I'm happy to report that I wasn't able to read my own locked entries with the dummy account. hehehe.
