The 60% of the population that made up my hamlet of Puerto de Santa María has begun the vast exodus back to their normal homes in the North. This was apparent when I strutted to the heavy metal bar at 1am on a friday night - and found it empty except for the bartender and some high school kids hanging out in front smoking pot. It was quite tragic
