Another round of writer's block and everything else in between
A trip around Sarawak (Kuching - Sarikei - Sibu - Bintulu - Miri) and everywhere else in between the trip.
Finished the book by Sparks 'The Best of Me' and it was a good read... ended the way it would have ended (for those who are fans of Sparks, you know what i mean)
Finished watching The Proposal for the umpteenth time. it's probably one of the best rom-com (romantic comedy) around; at least to me.
The Proposal stars Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds who plans to get married in order to prevent Margaret (Sandra Bullock) from being deported back to Canada. I understand that most people say that it's a bad rom-com for being too predictable and all of the bad package. But I find it rather cute and with all the nice details in between of the main plot.
Andrew (Ryan Reynolds) worked under Margaret and all the staff in the office thinks of her as a sort of dictator who bosses people around and calls her a witch. During their trip to Alaska to meet Andrew's family, things took a better turn. For 3 years, Andrew hated her but he changes his mind and realizes that he's fallen in love with her. One of my most loved scene was the part where Margaret frets when she sees how wonderful his family is and that they're treating her like family and she couldn't bear with it; that she hasn't had any family around her and had been on her own since 16. She hijacks the speed boat and suddenly lets go of the wheel. Andrew takes over and steers away sharply to avoid the buoy. When he turns around, he sees her gone and finds her thrown off the boat into the icy waters. He turns back around to get her and hugs her to keep her warm. And that is just so sweet!
