I think that "frantic" would be my #1 adjective to describe every wedding I've ever been to, so yeah, your experience sounds about on par to me.

Re: bus people: I think the politically correct term is "colorfully eccentric".

I think there's a squandered opportunity here (or not, depending on how blatant you felt the fake blood to be). Why tell the Denny's staff the real story, when you're handed a blank cheque for mayhem? "We were just out dealing with some -other- waitresses who asked too many questions..."

Am I interpreting this correctly that you made the entire trip back to E-town while still coated in syruppy gore? Did you at least put some newspaper on the car seat, or...?

I feel better now, having had a cup of tea. It turns out that stuff fixes everything. :P

You're just figuring that out now...?

Well not all weddings. Just any wedding in which there are more than ten people there.

And my personal stance on bus people is that they can be as colorfully eccentric as they want as long as it's on the other side of the bus from where I happen to be.

I think our opportunity was passed on account of the fact that it was the first time since we came out of the show that anyone asked about it. We walked up and down the streets of Calgary and only one person really took any notice of us. Then again, that was sort of like the time I was in the zombie movie. It's amazing how people will go out of their way to not look at you when you're covered in gore.

And yes. We drove all the way from Calgary to Edmonton covered in syrupy goodness. My sister pinned up my hair before I left so I actually had to step into the shower before I could get them all out because my head was covered with the stuff.

And of course I knew that but some problems seem tricky. They make you feel like tea wouldn't be the answer but alas, it always is.
