Quick Like Bunny
It's been a good couple of days but they went too fast. Then again, isn't that how all good times tend to go? It certainly seems that way.
The weather lately has cooled right down and according to the ever accurate Weather Network website, it's going to stay that way for a while here. This is nothing short of wonderful for someone like me who would happily contend with the rain every single day for the rest of my existence if I could. The only down side is that it makes me wish it was fall now. I know that I shouldn't be rushing away my freedom at the moment because I know that school is going to make life a little bit interesting coming up here but I just can't help feeling like I really want to enjoy the season change now. I want to start baking and getting the Halloween decorations and stuff. Hell, I actually want to bother decorating this year and that's pretty damn impressive seeing as how I haven't wanted to touch that box in my storage room for the past two years.
I remember feeling like this a little last year at this time. I still remember when we were all waiting on Ava to be born and I was basically addicted to the Tiger Army album The Power of Moonlight. Something about that album just made me feel like things should be changing soon. It's weird to think that this time last year, I was planning for another year of school before trying to take off to California. Best hope for best laid plans I guess...*grumble*
Well whatever. It took a while to figure out why this was a better option but I couldn't be happier about this disaster now. Not sure where I'm going but at this point, I'm pretty damn happy and really what else can you really ask for?
But on that note, I have to get going to get my relaxation on. I have a stupid amount of cleaning to do tomorrow and I'll be back to work too. And fair warning, I'm likely to get all poetic on the lot of you here. Just so you know.
