Yeah, it was crazy intense. Mandy wound up hanging out at our place for several hours to avoid the worst of it. Madness!

I was pretty stunned by the pictures you posted on your Twitter. The arial shots were nothing short of chilling when you think of how bad the wind had to be to do that. :S

Wasn't that nuts? I was doing the same sort of panicking-and-plotting-escape-routes thinking while it was going on, only mine was being vocalized to poor Corey. When I went for a walk in the morning there was at least one tree down on my street, and bits of what looked like corrugated roofing material all over the sidewalk. There was also a sign lying on the corner of our block that belonged to a bar on the corner of Jasper Avenue. That's a hell of a long way to fly. >>

Am I ever glad I wasn't someone who got caught outside in that. O.o

I heard stuff like the wind was tipping over semis and stuff. At least one person said that the wind put a garage sale sign through a tree which is pretty damn scary too.
