Random thoughts when re-watching select clips of the Pilot because I was trying to see if Fraser's brown uniformed looked blue in any of the lightings. And yes, in some clips the uniform takes on a navvy hue.
- Love DM's expression when Fraser says the dead Mountie's his father. The look of shock is so beautifully gobsmacked.
- Fraser eyes go wide

Yeah, the stunt double was horrific. Couldn't they have...I don't know, powdered his face or something?
Hair issue? I rather liked Fraser's hair in the Pilot.

Although I did like the spiky mussed up look he was wearing in the morgue. It makes him look all rumpled, like a big kid.

Hee hee wide eyed Fraser of course soon himself will by multiplying Ray's caseload.
And yeah so many of the little scense in the pilot show so much that being just one of them. You wonder why Fraser insists on paying Ray - as if he does feel he owes Ray and Ray being surprised because as far as he is concerned Fraser doesn't.
Fraser has trianed himself to resist, but I bet he was tempted.
I never noticed Fraser tucking it into his suspenders too. Hee cute.
I think Maria and Tony ust actually have a prety good marriage all things considered. They argue like an old married couple too.
Fraser is smitten by this point...
Mmm I think Fraser really helped Ray get out of the snowsuit.
Those doubles - why such a close shot it's so clear it;s not pG and DM>
And yeah I hope DM got a nice hot bath afterward.

Mmm...meta.
Fraser's not all that great for Ray's stress levels, is he? But Ray loves it.
Well, I can imagine Fraser not wanting to owe Ray the phone call since it is international and if I remember back in '94, international calls cost a lot. Something like $4 per minute. Granted the call wasn't long, but the dollar was worth more back then too. *bitter about inflation* But then again, Ray hands out hundreds for Fraser, so I guess a couple of dollars to Ray is sort of pocket change.

Yeah it would have been relatively expensive. I don;'t think Ray really places that much value on the cash versus what he gets form tlaking with Fraser. All he asks is for an explantion that must ne worth more than money to him. And yeah comapred to how much he psends on Fraser the phonecall wouldn't have been that much.

He wants to know everything Benny knows and that shows his dedication to the case. He may say that he doesn't care, but his actions prove otherwise. Sometimes I wonder if Ray being caustic about the case was because he keeps getting people harping on him about solving cases when he's already busting his ass over them. I mean, 41 open cases and no partner to help him out. Why keep giving him cases if they didn't think he can handle it ( ... )
