Apparently prohibiting fishing in pajamas isn't the only stupid law the State of Illinois has passed.

According to this site, it's illegal to speak "English" in Illinois. The official language is "American". (And I am suddenly having a whole new appreciation for Ray's comments about not speaking "Canadian". Oh Ray, I didn't realize your complaints ( Read more... )

Read on a box of catnip at work: In Illinois, it is illegal to offer a lighted cigar to a cat.

I think I should save that as a random fic prompt sometime...

It would be very amusing to see. But who'd want to offer a lighted cigar to a cat? o.O (Or any other animal for that matter.)

Perhaps Welsh, at a station party of some kind. Fraser'd see it and point it out to Ray, and insist that he arrest his Lieu....
