Yay, the cupcakes came out good! :-) No kitchen fires or mixing the wrong ingredientsor anything! Maybe it was because I had my sister help (read: supervise) me this time. In any case, I'm happy with them.

I will say that even though the cupcakes are wonderful, the frosting is waaaay too sweet. I couldn't eat too much of it without getting a stomach ( Read more... )

haha I'm always amused that Amy somehow messes up her own recipe. I always end up with a goofy number but I make them huuuuuuge.

I love drinking wine and eating proscuitto and being classy. And watching Arrested Development. Good times!

I have no idea how she only gets 18 cupcakes. I've made her recipe probably 6 or 7 times--I eat a lot of batter and I STILL get 20-some. And it's not like she makes them huge. I've gotten cupcakes from her before and they're the same size as how I make them, which is kinda small. Maybe she gets high an eats a few, and figures that those "don't count." Haha.

Hahaha! Probably. It's funny because I had 3 other people over, so you KNOW spoons were going into that batter bowl the entire time I was making them. And still I had more than enough!
