Good I'm glad that he decided to sign over his rights, it would be the best thing for the both of you.

I'm just cruising by from babywearer, but I wanted to tell you that your ex can't voluntarily terminate his parental rights without someone to take them- as in- you'd have to be married to someone who would be willing to adopt your daughter. If he hasn't signed a recognition of parentage/his name isn't on the birth certificate he technically doesn't have legal rights anyway. If/when you file for CS they will give him the option of a paternity test at his expense and then he will become the legal father... if you're not wanting him to have rights it may be best not to file (though, I know that if you're on state health care they're going to legally require that you DO file). Your situation is rough and I'm sorry that you're in it.
