So, I figured, what better way to celebrate my first day of not having health insurance than a good, old fashioned car crash? Yayyy.

Oh well. It wasn't my fault, I got a rental car, and I wasn't hurt too badly. My neck is really sore right now, but that's about it. It could have been worse.

I'm posting less words and more pictures lately. I really have nothing interesting to say, and pictures can be just as indicative of what I've been up to.

Another summer ends as quickly as it begins. Autumn will be here and gone before I know it. For as long as I can remember, my summers have just been filled with excitement and adventure, and this one was no different. Last night, I sat in Whole Foods in Berkeley for over two hours talking and eating vegan cake with two complete strangers. Then I rode my bike home and got a flat tire halfway through my journey. It was an eventful evening.

Thursday was spent in a forest full of redwoods.

I love it here. I've slowly slipped into this comfortable routine, and even though there's so much ahead of me, the idea of just staying here and continuing this life sounds so appealing. I did a lot of bike riding/walking/exploring today. I started out at Pier 1 in San Francisco, by the Bay Bridge, and I rode over the Golden Gate and into Sausalito. It's such a neat little town.. lots of fun shops and cafes. I walked around for a while, and then I took a ferry back to Fisherman's Wharf. It was a really fun exploring kind of day.. I love living in large cities, but sometimes I get sick of having to be so overprotective of my posessions. My bike was stolen today, which really sucks, especially since it wasn't even my bike.
