We're in a recession. There is a difference between that and a depression. And don't forget that Bush started all of this crap that we're going through (along with the massive amount of debt we're accruing). Obama's been in office for a whole 4 1/2 months. Things like this don't fix themselves overnight. Sure, I think it's a bit extreme that they flew off somewhere to have a night out but it's not like it hasn't happened before.
